Between 2001 and 2013 Ray Hopley divided his time between making sculpture and paintings and working as an Art Psychotherapist in the N.H.S. He was registered with the Health Professionals Council and the British Association of Art Therapists. He moved to St. Just in Cornwall in 2012 and retired from the N.H.S. in 2013. He now concentrates on his own arts practice.
